Summary
Parlay 21 is a patented 50/50 Even Money Side Bet, best played with a continuous shuffler, on whether the Dealer’s Up-Card is RED or BLACK. All winning Parlay Wagers plus payoff MUST be parlayed (capped) into the Blackjack Wager before players make Blackjack strategy decisions.
The Parlay Wager is equal to or lower than the Blackjack Wager. DEALER TIP Wagers may be placed on the Parlay Side Bet only, the Blackjack Wager only or BOTH.
Parlay 21 is approved in Nevada and Mississippi.
How To Play
Players must make a Blackjack Wager and can then place an optional Parlay 21 Side Bet on whether the Dealers’ Up-Card is a RED suit ♥♦ or a BLACK suit ♠♣ (Parlay 21 Side Bet must be equal to or less than the Blackjack Wager.)
The Blackjack round begins with all Players and the Dealer receiving their first 2 cards. While Players inspect their cards, all Parlay 21 Side Bets are settled. Losing bets are collected by the Dealer; winning bets are paid even money, and immediately parlayed into the Blackjack Wager, with the dealer capping the Blackjack Wager. (Winning Parlay Wagers plus payoff MUST be parlayed into the Blackjack Wager.)
The Blackjack round continues according to the house rules of the game. All Blackjacks pay 3:2 or 6:5 depending upon house rules.
All Blackjacks are paid according to house rules after the Blackjack Wager has been increased due to a winning Parlay 21 Side Bet. Players may double down or split after the Blackjack Wager has been increased due to a winning Parlay Wager.
